About the role
Mater Hospital Rockhampton are seeking expressions of interest from experienced and passionate Endorsed Enrolled Nursesto join our rehabilitation ward in a permanent parttime position.
Education and training opportunities are available as well as flexible shift opportunities.
Salary range:$35.92 $38.21 per hour plus 11.5 superannuation andaccess to notforprofit salary packaging up to $15900access to many staff benefits!
- Achieving optimal patient outcomes throughout the patient journey and continuum of care
- Demonstrating exceptional clinical expertise and knowledge of procedures and the management of patients seeking outstanding care
- Implementing strategies to ensure that quality and risk management are integrated into service provision
- Working collaboratively with the nursing team to provide exceptional care every time
- Maintaining current knowledge and skills to ensure continued professional growth
To be successful in this position you will have the following:
- Current AHPRA nursing registration as an Enrolled Nurse (no restrictions)
- Prior experience as an Enrolled Nurse in General Surgery or another similar field would be highly desired
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to liaise with avariety of different stakeholders both internally and externally at various levels
- Demonstrated ability to operate both in a team environment and autonomously using initiative sound reasoning and strong listening negotiation and decisionmaking skills
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Commitment to ensuring the levels of service is delivered to patients at all times
