Civil Project Engineer

AECOM is seeking a Midlevel Civil Engineer experienced with water resources and/or municipal related projects for an opening in our El Paso TX office. In this role youll have the opportunity to work on stormwater management projects including hydrologic hydraulic water quality design and utility design infrastructure such as storm sewer water main and sanitary sewer. Responsibilities for this position may include but are not limited to:

• Providing technical support to water infrastructure projects including: design analysis inspection construction observation and regulatory compliance activities
• Development of plans specifications and construction estimates.
• Collaborate with teams for model and analysis for stormwater wastewater and water conveyance modeling and design flood protection systems and conveyance facilities dams reservoirs levees canals tunnels.
• Preparation of technical reports memos and engineering design and construction related documents.

Qualifications :

Minimum Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in civil or environmental engineer and 4 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

Preferred Qualifications:

• 5 years of Water infrastructure or municipal design experience
• Experience with Texas or other DOT transportation projects
• Texas Professional Engineering (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.
• Experience with drafting and modeling software such CADD i.e. Civil 3D and GIS.
• Experience with HECRAS XPSWMM WinSLAMM HydroCAD HY8 or other water resource modeling programs software preferred
• Experience reviewing stormwater management reports and site or transportation construction plans.
