Job Description

What will the role involve

You will work within the Production Department in the Celebrity Magazine & Supplements Hub to ensure all copy is fact checked and grammatically correct always adhering to the house style. You will ensure content is engaging entertaining and original. You will rewrite copy when necessary to make it pop and ensure all pictures are credited correctly. 

You will write accurate captions for pages ensuring the navigation around the page is easy to follow. You will create punchy headlines standfirsts and pull quotes while ensuring all pictures are correctly credited. You will help to maintain and communicate clear brand identities for all magazine titles. This role typically involves working Monday to Friday 10am 6pm shifts though some flexibility is required around busy press days.


Qualifications :

Who are we looking for

You are an exceptional NCTJ qualified journalist and experienced sub editor with a proven track record of subbing celebrity focused content ideally in a fastpaced weekly magazine environment. You have an excellent understanding of the OK! New! Notebook S and Love Sunday brands and can confidently adapt to each magazines style.

You have demonstrable experience subbing print content have firstclass copyediting skills and can keep up with the pace of subbing multiple magazines a week. You can check facts quickly and accurately and can meet deadlines with ease.
