Job Title: Senior Project Manager Mechanical or Electrical Background (PE License Preferred)

Position Overview: We are seeking a seasoned Senior Project Manager with a background in mechanical or electrical engineering preferably holding a PE license. This role will focus primarily on healthcare projects with additional opportunities in higher education K12 federal government and stadium sectors.
Responsibilities:
Management:
- Attend meetings with owners clients and architects; facilitate effective communication between clients and the project team; document critical issues.
- Monitor project budgets throughout the project lifecycle; collaborate with the project team to align work schedules with manhour budgets.
- Identify negotiate and oversee fees for additional services as required.
- Cultivate and expand vital business relationships essential to project success; engage in business development activities with current clients.
- Confirm project scope and requirements with clients and stakeholders; collaborate with the Client Relationship Manager (CRM) or Location Leader as necessary.
- Assist in developing the projects financial plan by negotiating fees and contracts preparing proposal letters and participating in manhour budgeting processes alongside CRM or Location Leader.
Technical:
- Hold a technical or bachelors degree in a relevant technical discipline practiced by the firm with ten years of practical experience on similar projects.
- Possess Professional Engineer licensure.
- Preferably have experience in healthcare building design.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word Excel PowerPoint Outlook).
- Thorough understanding of engineering theories methodologies project approaches and system designs.
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles to create and maintain budgets.
- Comfortable interacting directly with clients.
Market & Project Experience:
- Focus on healthcare markets with specific expertise in hospitals and healthcare facilities including new construction renovations and rehabilitations.
- Additional experience in federal government higher education and stadium projects is advantageous.
