Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead the design of test strategy plans scenarios scripts or procedures for testing General Skills Experience coordinating the test strategy and plan with project managers and others Experience writing and reviewing a test strategy.
Experience and Skill Set Requirements
Testing Proficiency
- Proven experience as a functional tester for largescale enterprise systems undergoing transformation or being built from scratch.
- Skilled in developing automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium Robotic WAVE and others.
- Proficient in REST API testing including creating test data and verifying expected results using clients like Postman Curl and SOAP UI.
- Experienced in designing developing and maintaining test cases based on industry best practices and standards.
- Adept at manual test defect reporting and testing various integration technologies.
Test Automation Frameworks
- Proficient in using test automation tools (e.g. Selenium Robotic).
- Skilled in API testing (REST SOAP) using Postman and Swagger.
- Knowledgeable in AODA testing tools.
Database Systems
- Strong understanding of relational database technology and handson experience with SQL for test data preparation or expected result verification using database management systems such as SQL Server Oracle and MS Access.
- Experienced in database testing.
Collaboration and Communication
- Excellent team collaboration documentation problemsolving and communication skills.
Must Have:
- Proficient in API testing.
- Knowledgeable in the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disability Act (AODA).
- Strong understanding of SQL including handson experience with Oracle. This includes the ability to write queries perform data manipulation and conduct performance tuning.
- Automation testing skills.
- Proven experience as a functional tester for largescale enterprise systems undergoing transformation or being built from scratch.
Requirements
Must Have:
- Experienced in designing developing and maintaining test cases based on industry best practices and standards
- Skilled in executing functional nonfunctional systems integration load and performance and API testing.
- Proficiency in using automated test tools.
- Strong ability to analyze test results troubleshoot issues and provide recommendations.
Bachelor s degree or equivalent combination of education and related experience 6+ years experience in developing Web Applications using modern front-end frameworks like Angular, React or VueJS. Experience in developing REST APIs using C# .NET Web API and integrating with frontend frameworks. Experience with debugging Web Applications using Chrome developer tool. Experience with Bootstrap CSS library. Experience is developing optimized MS SQL stored procedures for large data sets. Experience with object-oriented concepts and design patterns. Experience in Agile software development. Experience with Team Foundation Server as a code repository is a plus.
