(Senior) Energy Trading Market Access Software Specialist / 2nd Level Support

in the Energy Trading and Risk Management (ETRM) Market Access & Intraday Solutions team.

Market Access enables business in BA Markets through timely and sustainable delivery of application development and support in the area of Energy Trading. You will be responsible for our Market Access applications from system analyses and daily support to change management. This includes the coordination of external software suppliers configuration management followup on market changes and onthefloor trader support.

Your key responsibilities:

• Direct interaction with traders software vendors and IT departments in Vattenfall
• Provide technical support and resolve problems for our trading business
• Enable trade for traders and automate trading processes in close collaboration with the application vendor
• Monitor analyze and fix the Front Office IT system landscape
• Continuous improvements on our landscape and way of working are strong drivers of our daily work
• Contribute actively to the SCRUM events of the agile & DevOps team and adhere to the established SCRUM framework

Qualifications :

Your Profile as Senior ETRM Market Access Software Specialist / 2nd Level Support

If you are eager to learn and curious to enter into a new career you will be in the right spot. The ETRM MA Team welcomes career changers e.g. coming from a banking or finance background.

• University degree in Business and Information Technology Engineering or another related field
• Significant working experience with overall IT support and operations
• Strong analytical skills
• Experience with Front Office support in any type of trading environment
• Experience with marketplace connectivity complex IT network architecture and low latency communication is required including the systems being supported: E*Star Energy Trading Solution Trading Technologies and Trayport
• Experience with supporting news & data provider infrastructure from LSEG (formerly Reuters/Refinitiv) and Bloomberg is required
• Prior experience working with Splunk Grafana Kafka Jenkins is required
• Experience with IT networks and application hosting (with a focus on cloud technology)
• Handson application support experience following ITIL principles
• High degree of commitment
• Willingness to stretch over the full service chain (from 1st level support up to supplier coordination)
• Teamoriented and excellent communicator
• Fluent in English written and spoken
• German or Swedish would be beneficial
