Job Description
Responsible for tracking analyzing and reporting project financial status.
Ensures that procedures and policies are in place to fulfill all contractual financial obligations
Facilitate effective and efficient financial reporting and ensure compliance with local state and corporate policies.
Maintain a clear understanding of revenue recognition project invoicing journal entry preparation and general accounting rules.
Support both management and clients by communicating financial insights and reporting on the performance of assigned projects in a way that nonfinancial team members can understand.
Direct fiscal operations relating to financial planning funds management accounting reporting and disbursement.
Perform monthend closing activities
Process payroll accounts payable and prepare accounts receivable invoices to customers
Prepare and maintain budgets forecasts and cash flows across multiple funding streams and communicate the contracts financial position
Administer supplier contract terms verify compliance and review payments
Prepare financial performance reviews and maintain project financial data
Other duties as assigned
Qualifications :
Selfmotivated and flexible team player.
Strong organizational interpersonal and communication skills.
Driven and actionoriented and are comfortable multitasking and meeting multiple tight deadlines.
Take pride in your ability to recognize and solve problems as they arise especially in regard to business practices quality and internal controls.
Bachelors degree or higher in a related field and 3 years of working in an accounting role and are ready to make an impact.
Previous experience with cost accounting government fund accounting or Oracle.
