Childrens Advanced Social Worker
Job Description
We are working closely alongside a Local Authority in Liverpool to assist with the appointment of a Childrens Advanced Social Worker on a 3month contract likely to be extended at clients discretion. Please apply with your CV for immediate consideration.
Rate of Pay: 32.08 40.50 per Hour
Responsibilities:
- Manage a caseload of complex child protection children in need and lookedafter children cases.
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and create tailored care plans in line with legislative frameworks and best practices.
- Provide expert advice supervision and mentorship to junior social workers and newly qualified staff.
- Work collaboratively with multiagency teams including schools healthcare professionals and legal services to safeguard and support children and their families.
- Lead on child protection conferences reviews and court proceedings preparing detailed reports and presenting evidence where necessary.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or Mabg child protection court work and lookedafter children.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage children and families effectively.
- Strong report writing and analytical skills for court proceedings and assessments.

- You should be available to work immediately or at a short notice.
- You should have right to work in U.K
- This role requires an enhanced DBS
