We are seeking a dedicated Band 5/6 Audiologist to join our clients dynamic team in York. If you are passionate about delivering highquality patient care and eager to contribute to service development we would love to hear from you.
Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive hearing assessments and providing rehabilitation services for both adults and children. Your role will involve fitting and maintaining hearing aids offering followup care and providing support in ENT clinics. You will work autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team ensuring highquality patient care. Additionally you will contribute to service development participate in departmental audits and provide training and support to students and junior staff. Your expertise and dedication will be essential in enhancing patient outcomes and improving their quality of life.
Qualifications and Experience:
BSc in Audiology
Registration with RCCP HCPC or AHCS
Experience in an NHS or hospital setting providing diagnostic and rehabilitative care
Experience in fitting and maintaining hearing aids
Proficiency in using patient management systems such as Auditbase and Cerner (desirable)
Excellent communication skills both written and oral
Ability to work autonomously and as part of a multidisciplinary team
