Job Description
As an Associate in renewable energy investments and M&A you will play an important role in supporting investment decisions in onshore wind solar PV and energy storage projects. You will work closely with senior team members assisting in project financial modeling due diligence and stakeholder coordination while also contributing to buyside and sellside M&A transactions.
Your responsibilities include:
- Supporting the preparation of investment decisions including financial analysis market research and documentation.
- Assisting in transaction processes such as due diligence contract negotiations and stakeholder coordination.
- Conducting financial modeling and preparing executivelevel presentations.
- Collaborating with internal teams across development legal and financing functions.
- Engaging in buyside and sellside M&A transactions contributing to the structuring of investments and sales.
- Contributing to OX2s transition towards a hybrid energy company by helping structure investments and sales.

We hope you have:
- 12 years of relevant experience in investment banking private equity corporate finance transaction services or a similar field.
- A Masters degree in Finance Industrial Engineering Business or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills with an eye for detail.
- Some experience in financial modeling market analysis or due diligence.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Excel you dont need to be an Excel wizard but solid skills are appreciated.
- Full professional proficiency in English Finnish and Swedish is considered an advantage.

Practicalities:
This is a fulltime permanent position where you will be directly employed by OX2 Finland. The role is based in Helsinki with occasional travel to Stockholm and other European locations.
OX2 develops constructs sells owns and operates renewable energy solutions at scale. OX2s project development portfolio consists of both inhouse developed as well as acquired projects in onshore and offshore wind solar and energy storage in various phases of development. The company is also active in developing projects based on other renewable energy technologies such as hydrogen. OX2 operates across Europe and in Australia. The company has about 500 employees with around 100 working in Finland and is headquartered in Stockholm Sweden. OX2 is owned by EQT one of the worlds largest private equity investors.
