As part of the Executive Team you will have full accountability for the Facilities and Loss Prevention.. Your leadership will reflect our commitment to design craftsmanship and precision in every detail.
Champion the Auberge Resorts Collection values instilling a designled mindset in every aspect of the propertys maintenance and operations.
Lead a proactive and strategic preventative maintenance program that ensures the highest standards of quality and guest experience.
Oversee and maintain all systems of the physical plant and grounds with meticulous attention to detail ensuring all repairs and maintenance are performed with precision.
Ensure safety programs are developed implemented and continually improved prioritizing the wellbeing of both guests and team members.
Respond promptly and effectively to emergencies to minimize impact on guests and operations.
Develop and manage departmental budgets forecasting accurately to support justintime maintenance and improvement projects.
Oversee the maintenance of inventory and logs for equipment and inspections to ensure compliance with all regulatory standards.
Direct the operations performance and maintenance of all mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing fire life safety and other essential systems.
Review financial reports and statements continuously seeking opportunities for efficiency cost savings and operational improvements.
Implement procedures that align with our standards for quality and precision including the Life Safety Manual Business Continuity Plan and Emergency Protocols.
Manage and supervise subcontractors to ensure projects meet our elevated quality standards.
Manage capital expenditure projects with a sharp focus on design integrity and operational impact.
PreOpening Responsibilities
Lead and coordinate preopening project management ensuring timelines budgets and design standards are met.
Collaborate closely with ownership contractors and design teams to ensure alignment with the Auberge Resorts Collections vision and quality expectations.
Manage the acquisition documentation and tracking of warranties for all systems and equipment.
Establish and negotiate service contracts to ensure postopening support is in place.
Identify document and follow up on all preopening deficiencies to ensure resolution prior to the resorts official opening.
Qualifications :
10 years of experience as a Director of Engineering within a luxury hotel environment or highend residential properties with a focus on refined design and elevated guest experiences.
Proven leadership skills with strong organizational and project management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks.
Certified in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering preferred with expertise in plumbing HVAC electrical systems spa and pool utilities (where applicable) and carpentry.
Indepth knowledge of mechanical electrical HVAC plumbing and life safety systems.
Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting forecasting and cost control.
Familiarity with the operations and priorities of all operating departments.
Experience ensuring compliance with local and national health and safety regulations.
Exceptional attention to detail with an unwavering commitment to quality and precision.
Ability to live and work in the United Kingdom without sponsorship.
Pre Opening experience with new built projects is highly beneficial.
