Job Description
Are you a dedicated and ambitious Maths Teacher looking for a rewarding opportunity in Nottingham We are seeking a passionate individual to join a highly regarded school as a Maths Teacher with a Teaching and Learning Responsibility (TLR). About the Maths Department:
The Maths Department is a dedicated team of enthusiastic educators committed to delivering engaging and effective Maths education. Collaboration and innovation are at the heart of the department providing a positive environment for both staff and students.
Responsibilities:
- Teach Maths to KS3 KS4 (GCSE) and KS5 (ALevel).
- Develop and deliver engaging and effective lessons that inspire students.
- Assess and monitor student progress to ensure strong outcomes.
- Contribute to curriculum development and innovation within the Maths Department.
- Take on additional leadership responsibilities as part of the TLR role.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Degree in Mathematics or a related subject.
- PGCE or QTS.
- Experience working as a Maths Teacher in a Secondary School.
- Previous leadership experience is desirable but candidates seeking to progress into leadership are encouraged to apply.
Salary and Benefits:
- Competitive salary on the MPS/UPS scale (depending on experience) with a TLR allowance.
