What Youll Be Doing
As a PPA Teacher your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering HighQuality Lessons: Teach engaging and wellplanned lessons across various subjects and year groups to cover for teachers on PPA time.
- Ensuring Progress: Help maintain high standards of academic achievement supporting students in achieving their learning goals.
- Adapting Lessons: Tailor your teaching approach to suit the needs and learning styles of different year groups and individuals.
- Creating a Positive Classroom Environment: Foster a safe inclusive and stimulating environment where children are encouraged to be independent learners.
- Collaborating with Teachers: Work closely with class teachers and the leadership team to ensure continuity of learning and share best practices.
- Monitoring and Assessing Progress: Track student progress providing constructive feedback to help children develop and excel.
- Contributing to School Life: Participate in schoolwide initiatives events and extracurricular activities contributing to a vibrant school culture.
What Were Looking For
We are looking for a PPA Teacher who:
- Has Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent qualification.
- Has experience teaching across multiple year groups and can adapt easily to different subjects and key stages.
- Is passionate about teaching and able to inspire students with engaging lessons.
- Has a strong understanding of the National Curriculum and is skilled at differentiating lessons to meet diverse needs.
- Demonstrates excellent communication skills and can work well as part of a team.
- Is committed to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment where all children can succeed.
- Has a positive and flexible attitude willing to collaborate and support others in their teaching practice.
