Job Description
Job Title: Electrician
Reports to: Head Electrical

Job Purpose
The overall purpose of the job is to install configure maintain instrumentation and control systems as well as perform general maintenance to ensure smooth running of the daytoday operations of the dairy plant.
Key duties and responsibilities
a) Install configure and maintain instrumentation and control systems including sensors transmitters controllers and valves.
b) Maintain accurate records of maintenance repairs and calibration including documentation of instrumentation and control systems.
c) Troubleshoot and repair instrumentation and control systems identifying and resolving technical issues.
d) Calibrate and test instrumentation and control systems to ensure accuracy and reliability.
e) Ensure compliance with safety protocols and industry regulations such as OSHA and ISA standards.
f) Participate in training and development programs to stay current with new technologies and industry developments.
g) Work with other technicians engineers and operations personnel to resolve technical issues and improve instrumentation and control systems.

Knowledge experience and qualifications required
Diploma or Certificate in Instrumentation Electrical or Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years working experience.

Technical & Behavioral competencies
Proficient in instrumentation and control systems including sensors transmitters controllers and actuators. Familiarity with calibration equipment and software.
Computer literate
Good communication skills
Ability to work collaboratively with others in a team
Selfmotivated with the ability to work on own initiative
Ability to work under pressure with minimal supervision and meet deadlines
Strong attention to detail
Good observation skills
Analytical thinking and problemsolving skills
Requirements
