We are seeking an Intermediate Architectural Technologist/Intern Architect to join our Buildings Group (C2 Architecture Inc) in our Mississauga or Bowmanville office in a hybrid work model. As an Intermediate Architectural Technologist/Intern Architect you will have the opportunity to develop your skills and grow your career in a collaborative teambased environment. You will work alongside experienced professionals gaining exposure to a wide range of projects in multiple sectors including transit commercial education healthcare and federal.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the project team to prepare conceptual designs presentations design development and construction documents for a variety of projects.
  • Assist in integrating multidisciplinary input into the design process including working with specialists in areas such as traffic engineering transportation safety stormwater management geotechnical engineering and environmental/ecology.
  • Support the preparation of presentation materials and renderings for client and public consultations.
  • Provide assistance with contract administration services and/or construction inspection as needed.
  • Participate in internal and external professional development opportunities to continue building architectural knowledge and skills.
  • Contribute to the creation of written materials such as proposals design briefs meeting reports and other nondrafting tasks related to the architectural design process.
  • Assist with design development and reviews for ongoing projects.

Qualifications :

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture or Certified Technologist
  • 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in architectural drafting and design.
  • Experience with architectural design and drafting software such as AutoCAD Revit SketchUp and Adobe Creative Suite (preferred).
  • Strong organizational skills attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • A selfmotivated individual with the ability to work independently and in a teamoriented environment with a focus on quality and client satisfaction.
  • A strong desire to learn and grow within the architectural field.
  • LEED and/or Passive House accreditation is a plus but not required.
