Job Description
Vantiva is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Commodity Manager to lead our semiconductor procurement activities. This strategic role involves developing and implementing comprehensive sourcing strategies negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships to ensure the availability and quality of semiconductor components at optimal costs.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute a global sourcing strategy for semiconductor commodities
- Support supplier selection together with Product Managers contract negotiations and new supplier introductions
- Manage supplier relationships including performance reviews capacity planning and risk mitigation.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including engineering product development and quality assurance to align sourcing strategies with business objectives.
- Conduct market analysis and prepare reports on market trends pricing and supplier performance.
- Ensure compliance with corporate social responsibility standards including environmental ethical and regulatory requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives in cost quality and supply chain efficiency.
- Serve as the escalation point for complex commercial and supply chain issues.
Qualifications :
- Strong analytical and forecasting skills to determine market trends and pricing.
- Excellent negotiation and contract management abilities.
- Leadership and easiness to work in a crossfunctional environment
- Effective communication and relationshipbuilding skills.
- Proficiency in using procurement and supply chain management tools.
- Fluent in English
Candidate Profile:
- Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management Engineering Business or a related field. A Masters degree is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commodity management preferably with a focus on semiconductors.
- Strong knowledge of the semiconductor market suppliers and manufacturing processes.
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing contract negotiation and supplier management.
- Excellent analytical communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fastpaced crossfunctional environment.
- Experience with ERP systems and procurement software.
