Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detailoriented Staff UX Designer to join our Design Team at Caseware a leading SaaS organization. As a Staff UX Designer you will play a critical role in designing exceptional user experiences for our cloudbased audit financial reporting and data analytics solutions that empower accounting professionals worldwide.
You will work closely with the Product Engineering and Design Teams to create intuitive usercentred designs that help our customers work more intelligently gain deeper insights and deliver impactful results.
This is a fulltime permanent position

This is a hybrid role requiring the successful candidate to work 3 days a week in our Toronto office located at 351 King St E Suite 1100 Toronto ON.

What will you be doing:
- Working in crossfunctional teams own the endtoend user experience for highimpact projects with broad scope and complexity
- Create usercentered designs by understanding business requirements user needs and technological capabilities/constraints
- Design wireframes mockups and interactive prototypes that effectively communicate design concepts
- Conduct user research usability testing and validate designs to ensure they meet user needs
- Collaborate with product managers and engineers to define and implement innovative solutions
- Champion design best practices and contribute to the evolution of our design system to ensure consistent user experience across all Caseware products
- Stay current with UX design trends tools and emerging technologies in the accounting and audit software industry
- Create and maintain detailed design documentation including user flows interaction models and design specifications
- Help resolve customerimpacting design issues ensuring the quickest and safest resolutions
- Contribute to the overall design strategy and vision for Casewares products
- Assist in crossdepartment design initiatives that enhance the overall product ecosystem
- Participate in design critiques and provide constructive feedback to fellow designers
- Mentor other designers providing constructive feedback and helping grow their skillsets
What will you bring:
- Bachelors degree in Design HumanComputer Interaction or related field or equivalent professional experience
- 8 years of experience in UX design preferably in SaaS or enterprise software environments
- Strong portfolio showcasing your design process and problemsolving abilities
- Proficiency with design and prototyping tools such as Figma Sketch Adobe XD or similar
- Experience conducting user research and applying insights to improve designs
- Solid understanding of design systems and componentbased design
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and designing for diverse user needs
- Excellent communication skills to present design decisions and collaborate with crossfunctional teams
- Ability to translate complex financial and accounting concepts into intuitive user experiences
- Demonstrated ability to work in an agile environment with rapid iteration cycles
- Understanding of responsive design principles and crossplatform user experiences
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to give and receive constructive feedback

- Figma for UI/UX design and prototyping
- Design systems implementation and management
- Angular components for implementation references
- User research and testing platforms
- Collaboration tools including Microsoft Teams Jira and Confluence
