Job Description
Job Title: Apparel Decorator
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Apparel Decoratorto join our team. The Apparel Decorator will be responsible for operating a heat press machine to customize uniforms including adding logos names and numbers to the garments. There is no previous experience needed. You will receive full training.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a heat press machine to customize uniforms according to customer specifications.
- Review customer orders and ensure the accuracy of customization including the placement of logos names and numbers.
- Adjust the heat press machine settings to ensure proper temperature and pressure for each garment.
- Prepare the garments for customization including prepressing trimming and ensuring that they are clean and wrinklefree.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area including the heat press machine tools and supplies.
- Keep inventory of supplies and materials needed for the heat press machine.
- Troubleshoot any issues with the heat press machine such as temperature or pressure problems and notify the appropriate team member if needed.
- Communicate with customers to ensure that customization meets their expectations.
- Meet production quotas and deadlines set by management.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- No Previous experience operating a heat press machine is Required. (Full Training Provided)
- Ability to read and interpret customer orders and specifications.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multitask.
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and meet production quotas and deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well with others.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.
