Salary Range:Generally starting at $4000$5000 per 3credit hour course. Pay rate is dependent upon education and experience of the lecturer. Compensation is prorated based on course credit hours.

Summary
The College ofEngineering & Applied Science at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS) will establish and maintain a pool of Lecturers in Electrical and Computer Engineering (ECE)from which future appointments to temporary nontenure track positions will be made. Appointments are parttime (less than 50 time) and will be made semesterbysemester.
This position will teach classes for the department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Classes may be oncampus online or hybrid. Examples of courses/subject area include the following:
- Problem solving with CPython
- Logic Circuit II ECE2411
- Circuits Analysis
- Computer Architecture
- ECEAdvanceVerificationMethodology
- Signal Processing and Communications
- Control systems
- Electromagnetics
- Microelectronics
- System Engineering
- ECERapidPrototypingWithFPGAs

Minimum Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related area.
Preferred Qualifications:
- A terminal degree in Electrical and Computer Engineering or a related area
- At least four months teaching experience.
- Ability or interest in teaching online classes.
- Relevant industry experience that includes current engagement in professional activities.
Physical Requirements:
- While performing the duties of this job the employee is frequently required to move.
- Employee is occasionally required to have long periods of sitting moderate bending and fine motor skills.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
