An exciting new opportunity has been made available for a Band 8a/b Clinical Psychologist to join our esteemed clients dynamic team in Sunderland Durham. This role is for a Clinical Psychologist. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a permanent contract. This vacancy offers competitive rates.
What will your responsibilities be
The successful candidate will be responsible for participating in the assessment of referrals and providing initial assessment service users referred to the service. They will be undertaking highquality direct (assessment & therapeutic) and indirect (consultative advisory and evaluative) specialist psychological interventions and making autonomous clinical decisions. They will be working therapeutically with service users with complex presentations undertaking the assessments using a broad range of structured psychometric and semistructured clinical methods. They will oversee formulating and implementing plans of specialist psychological treatment or management of patients mental health needs based on a multifactorial psychological understanding and current evidencebased best practice. They will be responsible for maintaining high standards of care in all areas of practice and in accordance with the HCPC Code of Conduct professional guidelines and Company Policies and Procedures.

Qualifications and Experiences:
HCPC registration
Psychologist
Proven CAMHS experience
Chartered Psychologist status and appropriate postgraduate qualifications
Previous experience of conducting research and project working
