Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
Design develop and maintain automated test scripts using Node.js and JavaScript.
Utilize Microsoft Playwright for browser/API automation.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins.
Collaborate with development teams to ensure code quality and promote best practices.
Manage and maintain version control using Git.
Track and report defects using Jira.
Test and validate Restful APIs and GraphQL endpoints.
Perform database testing on MySQL and DB2.
Conduct performance and load testing as needed.
Mentor junior QA engineers and provide guidance on best practices.
Required Technical Skills:
Proficiency in Node.js and JavaScript.
Handson experience with Microsoft Playwright for test automation.
Strong understanding of version control systems particularly Git.
Experience with CI/CD tools specifically Jenkins.
Proficiency in using Jira for defect tracking and project management.
Solid knowledge of Restful API and GraphQL testing.
Experience with relational databases particularly MySQL and DB2.
Familiarity with message broker systems especially Apache Kafka.
Understanding of SCRUM Agile testing methodologies and continuous integration practices.
Experience with DevOps and deployment practices.
Familiarity with RedHat OpenShift Private Cloud.
Soft Skills:
Excellent problemsolving and analytical skills.
Strong communication skills with proficiency in English.
Ability to work collaboratively in a teamoriented environment.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to mentor and lead junior team members.
Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and methodologies.
Qualifications:
Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in test automation and quality assurance.
