Job Description
ABC Imaging is a global Printing and Media company providing One Stop Visual Solutions to the Fortune 500 Companies worldwide. Locations in USA London Dubai and Shanghai. One Stop Solution.
POSITION SUMMARY:
We are looking for a Printing Estimator who can become an integral member of our team. The Printing Estimator will prepare competitive cost estimates for large format printing jobs by determining the most economical method of manufacturing. This includes everything from working with our account reps prepress and production teams; to project reviews quality control systems delivery and installation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Estimate internal costs of materials based on job specifications
- Determine the production centers and routing needed to produce the job as specified
- Calculate costs associated with product and vendor resourcing
- Use internal or external sources to help establish best materials and processes for RFQs
- Establish a consultative approach with clients and sales
- Maintain awareness and knowledge of material price changes and competitive pricing
- Constant communication with internal teams
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
- High School Degree or equivalent education; degree preferred
- 3 years experience as an Estimator for a printing company
- Large Format experience is a plus!
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Positive and professional attitude
- Experience working with computerized estimating systems
- Ability to balance multiple priorities in a fastpaced environment and align operations and sales processes to achieve business results
- Selfmotivated with the ability to work independently resourcefully with minimal oversight
- Demonstrated experience in developing strong working relationships with internal and external customers
