- Ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Security Clearance
Our Federal Government client seeks to engage an experienced Senior Cyber Security Technical Specialist with expertise in Application Control and User Application Hardening.
To be successful you will have demonstrated experience in:
- Identifying gaps in application control and user application hardening relating to the Essential Eight.
- Implementing application control and user application hardening settings to meet the Essential Eight.
- Liaising with managed service providers department staff thirdparty vendors and relevant business areas.
- Investigating and implementing improvements to uplift security configuration.
- The Information Security Manual (ISM) and the Essential Eight mitigation strategies.
Skills & Capabilities:
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex issues.
- Demonstrated experience in application control and user application hardening.
- Demonstrated experience in Airlock Digital.
- Has sound judgement and the ability to work under pressure with limited supervision to produce high quality outcomes.
- Ability to manage a large workload.
- Ability to develop strong productive relationships communication skills and technical solutions in the environment.
Role Particulars:
Submission deadline: 3/12
Duration: 12 months starting January 2024
Extension/s: 2 x 12 month options to extend
Eligibility: Australian Citizenship with ability to obtain and maintain NV1 Clearance
Location: Canberra A.C.T
Working arrangements: Must be Canberra based. There may be the opportunity to work from home 12 days per week.
