Job Description
The Fitness Specialist responsibilities may include but not limited to setting up equipment seat adjustments and weights according to members workout charts advising them when to increase weights and monitoring form on each machine in an effort to keep them engaged in their program and motivated to achieve their fitness goals. Responsible for fitness area including replenishing supplies equipment cleanliness and general maintenance. Must be a strong communicator with a commitment to superior customer service excellence supporting members to achieve their goals with a keen eye on safety and proper form.
SKILLS:
- Strong interpersonal communication skills. Ability to engage and retain personal training clientele
- Demonstrated ability to educate and motivate individuals toward safely achieving fitness goals
- Ensure organization appearance general maintenance and safety of fitness areas
- Provide accurate information and promote Center programs and services
- Specific Healthtrax fitness training is provided and compliance will be inspected
- Provide immediate efficient and friendly customer service in person and over the phone
- Team player assisting with various Center programs and service activities as needed
- Educational partnership with Post University reduced tuition for you and your immediate household
