Requirements:
- Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
- Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.
- BLS ACLS NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (or willingness to obtain).
- Prior experience in labor and delivery obstetrics or women s health preferred.
- Strong critical thinking communication and patient advocacy skills.
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care to mothers during labor delivery and recovery.
- Monitor maternal and fetal vitals contractions and labor progress.
- Assist with inductions pain management and emergencies.
- Educate and support mothers and families.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
- Provide postpartum care newborn assessments and discharge education.
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
- Respond to obstetric emergencies.
- Maintain a safe and sterile environment.
