Job Description

Summary:

  • Schedule: 12 Hours/Day; 36 Hours/Week
  • Shift Type: Days
  • Rate: Travel: $2750/36hours Local: $2650/36hours


Requirements:

  • Associates or Bachelors degree in Nursing (BSN preferred).
  • Current and unrestricted RN license in Massachusetts.
  • BLS ACLS NRP and AWHONN Fetal Monitoring certification (or willingness to obtain).
  • Prior experience in labor and delivery obstetrics or women s health preferred.
  • Strong critical thinking communication and patient advocacy skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct care to mothers during labor delivery and recovery.
  • Monitor maternal and fetal vitals contractions and labor progress.
  • Assist with inductions pain management and emergencies.
  • Educate and support mothers and families.
  • Develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Maintain accurate EMR documentation.
  • Provide postpartum care newborn assessments and discharge education.
  • Ensure compliance with hospital policies and best practices.
  • Respond to obstetric emergencies.
  • Maintain a safe and sterile environment.
