Job Description
Mcgrath City Honda is expanding our customer service team. Our main objective as Automotive Service Professionals is to do everything in our power to ensure our customers are driving a safe and reliable vehicle. We would like to hire a Parts Counterperson who is extremely customer focused and wants to build longterm relationships. Responsibilities:
- Maintain customer & technician relationships
- Track all incoming and outgoing parts for a dealership
- Locate available parts when the dealership is out of stock
- Make sure all parts are billed correctly through the service department and customer counter
- Packaging and shipping parts back to the manufacturer from time to time and completing the appropriate record keeping
- Referring to parts manuals (both hard copy and electronic format) to identify the correct part(s) for the make model and year of vehicles being serviced
- Honda or Acura experience a plus!
- Dealertrack experience also a bonus!
- Must be available to work weekends
- All candidates will be subject to both a background and drug test
Requirements:
- Experienced counter positions need at least 2 years of dealership parts experience
- Proficient in email and basic computer skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must take direction well and follow through entire task
- Must be able to perform other duties when assigned
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
Some heavy lifting is required
