    WAGE/HOUR STATUS: NonExempt PAY GRADE: AU4

    SALARY RANGE: $16.99 Minimum
    $24.21 Maximum

    PRIMARY PURPOSE:
    The Carpenter is responsible for carpentry work as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS: High School Graduate or GED preferred
    Three years experience preferred. Dependable and cooperative.
    Must have and maintain a valid drivers license and be insurable.

    MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
    • Performs tasks involving woodwork drywall VCT floor tile cabinets bookcases chalkboards bulletin boards bleachers metal framing and suspended ceilings.
    • Repairs and maintains hardware hinges and bolts.
    • Performs all duties in a safe manner to avoid injury to oneself and/or to others.
    • Performs other related duties as assigned.

    EQUIPMENT USED:
    • District vehicle electric power tools (drill saw etc.

    WORKING CONDITION:
    Mental Demands/Physical Demands/Environmental Factors
    :
    • Strenuous walking standing and/or climbing heavy lifting and carrying working outside and inside exposure to hot and cold temperatures exposure to dust working on ladders and scaffolding working on slippery or uneven surfaces.
