Job Description
The devices we make at SEL are embedded in the power grid. They prevent blackouts. They make outages safer and shorter in duration; they add cybersecurity automation and communication. They use cuttingedge technologies and operate at speeds that push other pieces of the grid to go faster. As an HR Intern in our Human Resources Division youll get the change to gain valuable experience supporting functions like recruiting immigration onboarding training and compliance that help support critical infrastructure and the safe reliable operation of power systems around the world.
As an HR Intern a typical day might include the following:
Calling candidates scheduling interviews and keeping detailed hiring documentation
Working with new hires third parties and outside counsel to coordinate international moves
Coordinating and improving processes related to onboarding
Learning about and applying broader HR knowledge to solving real business challenges
Coordinating and producing training sessions
Assist in organizing employee engagement events as an activity
Other duties as assigned
This internship might be for you if:
