Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking an Internist a Family Medicine or a Primary Care Physician to fill an opening with a multispecialty practice on multiple work locations (North Manhattan Bronx & Queens NY)
Requirements of theInternist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:
- Must have an active NY State License
- Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
- Should have at least 1 year of experience
- Preferably Bilingual in Spanish Russian or other languages but not a requirement
- Must be open to travel to North Manhattan the Bronx and Queens (Patients are clustered geographically for each day so it is always one area at a time)
Benefits of the Internist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:
- The salary for this position is $242000 $275000 / yr (prorated based on the number of days worked)
- This is a Parttime 23 days a week weekdays) with a potential for fulltime
- Malpractice coverage

- Driver will be provided who will pick up the provider if reasonably close to the house call route.

Responsibilities of the Internist/Family Medicine/Primary Care Physician:
- Consult with patients to understand their symptoms and health concerns.
- Diagnose and treat acute illnesses such as bacterial and viral infections as well as chronic diseases and conditions such as hypertension heart disease or diabetes.
- Prescribe or administer medication therapy and other specialized medical care to treat or prevent illness disease or injury.
- Explain procedures and discuss test results or prescribed treatments with patients.
- Monitor patients conditions and progress and reevaluate treatments as necessary.
- Provide health and wellness advice to patients including diet physical activity hygiene and disease prevention.
- Immunize patients against preventable diseases.
- Maintain detailed notes of appointments with patients including comments tests and/or treatments prescribed and test results.
- Refer patients to other medical specialists when necessary.
- Provide support and advice to patients receiving longterm care.
- Prepare official health documents or records when necessary.
- Conduct research into the testing and development of new medications methods of treatment or procedures to prevent or control illness disease or injury.
