We are looking for a skilled and compassionate Adult Speech and Language Therapist to join our clients team in Manchester. As an integral part of their multidisciplinary team you will work with adults to assess and treat communication and swallowing disorders supporting patients to achieve the best possible outcomes. Key Responsibilities:
In this role you will play a key role in assessing diagnosing and treating individuals with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work closely with patients to develop tailored therapy plans providing both individual and group sessions to improve speech language and cognitivecommunication skills. Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and family members will be essential to support patient progress and ensure holistic care. Your expertise will help empower patients to regain their independence and enhance their quality of life. A compassionate patientcentered approach and strong communication skills are essential in this role.
Qualifications and Experience:
HCPC registration.
Degree in Speech and Language Therapy (BSc or MSc) or equivalent qualification.
Proven experience in assessing and treating adults with communication and swallowing disorders.
Strong understanding of evidencebased therapy practices and clinical guidelines.
Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.
Experience working in the NHS or a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
