Job Description

The Preserve at Meridian in Meridian Mississippi is seeking a highly skilled and selfmotivated Maintenance Assistant to join our team. This is a fulltime hourly position in the healthcare/medical industry. As an individual contributor the Maintenance Assistant will work alongside the maintenance team to ensure the overall upkeep and maintenance of the facility. This includes performing repairs preventative maintenance and providing exceptional customer service to our residents.

Responsibilities:
Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance of all building systems including HVAC plumbing electrical and safety systems
Respond promptly to resident maintenance requests and work orders
Complete repairs replacements and installations as needed ensuring that all work is completed to highquality standards
Maintain accurate and uptodate records of all maintenance activities
Monitor and maintain inventory levels of supplies and equipment
Collaborate with other maintenance team members and property management to identify and address any maintenance concerns or deficiencies
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies at all times

Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of 2 years experiencein a maintenance role preferably in a healthcare setting
Knowledge of basic plumbing electrical and carpentry skills
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Ability to work independently and in a team environment
Must have basic computer skills and be able to maintain accurate records
Available to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends as needed
