Description

Responsible for the successful oversight management and leadership of construction projects from initiation to completion. This role is responsible for assessing bidding planning coordinating and executing projects while ensuring they are completed on time within budget and according to specifications while modeling the organizational purpose values and standards consistently.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Travel up to 50 to different construction job sites in OR CA NV and/or WA.
  • Perform all duties with respect to Companys Purpose Values Standards & Core Competencies.
  • Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including timelines budgets and resource allocation.
  • Prepare and manage project budgets track expenses and ensure costefficiency.
  • Oversee scheduling and coordination of materials equipment and workforce to maintain workflow and productivity.
  • Direct and supervise construction teams subcontractors and vendors to ensure smooth operations.
  • Monitor and inspect work to ensure it meets the required standards and project specifications.
  • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise during construction.
  • Maintain accurate records of project progress contracts permits and reports.
  • Ensure all construction activities comply with safety regulations building codes and legal requirements.
  • Travel as needed to communities to follow up on of action plan.
  • Communicating with executives and colleagues; Communicate any problems promptly and clearly and make recommendations towards solutions.
  • Complete assigned tasks consistent with Fair Housing regulations
  • Engage with Inspectors building officials & property management as needed
  • Other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.

Pay Rate:


This is a contract position that is commission based. The estimated monthly commission is: $depending on the hustle.

Requirements

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Construction Project Manager or similar role.
  • General Contractor License preferred
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes materials and best practices.
  • Excellent leadership communication and problemsolving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Microsoft Office Suite experience required.
  • Construction experience is required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
  • Travel as needed to projects.
  • Must have a drivers license and reliable transportation.
  • Must be able to pass background and drug screening.

  • Frequent walking on uneven surfaces including ground in varying weather conditions.
  • Regularly sit stand or walk short distances for up to the entire duration of a shift/workday.

  • Occasionally climb stairs or ladders etc.
  • Regularly works near heavy equipment and moving machinery.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Exposure to outdoor environment with machinery/equipment in the surrounding area.
  • This position requires the use and operation of a personal and/or company vehicle.
  • Able to wear personal protective equipment is required including but not limited to steel toe shoes gloves safety glasses hearing protection hard hat vest etc.
  • While performing the duties of this job the Team Member is regularly required to sit with periods of standing and walking of up to 8 hours per day; use fingers and hands to handle grasp and feel; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; bending at waist.
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and the ability to adjust and focus.
  • Candidate must be able to lift carry push & pull up to 25 lbs. and capable of operating office equipment. Position may occasionally require moderate lifting 2545 lbs..
  • Frequent travel by car to assigned projects as required up to 5 days per week.
  • Travel to Park Construction office bimonthly or as deemed necessary.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Monte Christo Communities is committed to ensuring the health and safety of their workforce. Computer workstation and climatecontrolled office environment. May enter areas which are nonairconditioned and where workers can expect to be occasionally exposed to heat cold and humidity fluctuating temperature conditions due to weather residential traffic dust and noise. This position will be required to occasionally work near maintenance and construction equipment.
