Job Description
- Oversee daily site activities ensuring construction work is executed as per project plans specifications and quality standards.
- Supervise and coordinate site workers subcontractors and vendors ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety regulations.
- Assist in planning and scheduling project activities ensuring timely of tasks.
- Monitor and control material usage ensuring optimal resource allocation and minimizing waste.
- Conduct site inspections identify technical issues and propose solutions to maintain project integrity.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols and enforce company safety policies onsite.
- Collaborate with project managers construction managers and other engineers to align site operations with overall project objectives.
- Maintain accurate site records including progress reports material usage logs and inspection documentation.
- Coordinate with suppliers and procurement teams to ensure timely material deliveries.
- Implement and oversee quality control measures ensuring that work meets industry standards and project requirements.
- Facilitate communication between the site and office teams providing regular updates on progress challenges and resource needs.
- Participate in project meetings and contribute to problemsolving discussions.
Requirements
- Bachelor s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in site supervision within the construction industry.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods materials and engineering principles.
- Familiarity with building codes safety regulations and quality standards.
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to handle onsite challenges.
- Strong communication and leadership abilities to manage site teams effectively.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written).
- Proficiency in project management and site supervision software is a plus.
