What Youll Do
- Implements mechanical design and coordination work as required
- Responsible for the preparation and to the project budget scheduling and approving expenditures analyzing variances and initiating corrective action when necessary problem solving root cause analysis and failure mode
- Assist in maintaining and improving process systems including programmable logic controllers process communications networks and human machine interface equipment.
- Interact with technical engineers and nontechnical operations personnel to integrate new technologies and update existing systems
- Prepares mechanical maintenance reports by collecting analyzing and summarizing information and trends
- Provide technical support regarding plant equipment process efficiency and plant wide safety
- Willing to learn; enjoys tackling new challenges
What Youll Need
- Possess knowledge of commonly used concepts practices and procedures in the industrial field
- Must be able to learn quickly multitask and utilize time wisely
- Must be able to read and interpret mechanical prints and diagrams
- Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office programs Outlook Word Excel Powerpoint; Proficient with AutoCAD 2016 or later
- Ability to work with exposure to extreme temperatures chemicals dust fumes and mists uneven surfaces loud noise elevated work areas and confined spaces
- Ability to work flexible hours and be available as needed by the business
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time climb stairs/ladders work at heights extreme heat and wear respirator
Your Education
- Bachelors degree required
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering Electrical Engineering Chemical Engineering or a related discipline preferred.
