Starr Regional Medical Center is currently seeking talent to fill the position of Phlebotomist for our Laboratory Services Department. This job is permanent PRN.

Core competencies include but are not limited to the following:
- Labels processes and delivers specimens for testing.
- Collects blood specimens using ageappropriate techniques.
- Maintains equipment and medical supplies.
- Assists with receiving identifying accessioning processing and transporting specimens
- Maintains work area in a safe aseptic and organized manner.
- Performs clerical duties including answering phones data entry and filing.
- Communicates test results to appropriate healthcare providers.
