ClinicianKensington Mental Health Services
SUMMARY
As part of a multidisciplinary team the Clinician will conduct psychotherapy with adult members that have severe and persistent mental illness in the office in members homes or in the Interim Housing setting. The Clinicians primary responsibilities are to engage members and to coordinate mental health and recovery services that will ensure housing stability and community integration. This position is responsible for maintaining the highest quality provision of direct individual and group therapeutic services and case management services while fostering teamwork among staff and across departments and programs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Qualifications
1. Masters degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field of study from an accredited university.
2. Valid registration or licensure with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences.
3.Current valid California Drivers with an acceptable driving record and reliable vehicle
4.Able to transport members in your vehicle
5.Outstanding clinical and strong teambuilding skills
6.Detailoriented with excellent time management organizational written verbal and computer skills
Work Environment
Combination of either field and/or office environment depending on position
On occasion walk or drive to different agencysites
May/Will necessitate working in busy and loud environments depending on position
May/Will be exposed to elements like cold heat dust noise and odor depending on position
May need to bend stoop twist and sit throughout the day
Regularly required to sit stand bend; occasionally lift or carry up to 35 lbs.
