About the EMEA Team

The Northern EU team is based in London and responsible for bringing in new logos. At the forefront of Mixpanels global expansion the new business function works with Sales Engineers Partner Managers Marketing Executives and our Productled Growth team to focus on winning new clients. We are growing our team at all levels from BDR to Enterprise Sales Executives.

About the role:

We are looking for an Account Executive with experience in selling data and marketingfocused software. Reporting to a team lead you are based in London or close enough to be present in the office with the rest of the team on a regular basis.

You will be an impact player able to demonstrate SaaS sales success in prospecting and acquiring new customers within the SMB segment and working with some of the hottest startups in the region. Targeting preselected account base of 100120 based on ICPs with an average order value of circa $25k ARR.

Mixpanel classifies the SMB segment as businesses with less than 250 employees. Typical ICP customers in this segment would be GoHenry Citymapper Chip.

As a New Business Account Executive youll help our future customers understand the power of Mixpanel as the bestinclass product analytics solution in the market. Collaboration is key from building strong relationships with prospects and key stakeholders to working with internal crossfunctional partners like Sales Engineering to win together as one team. Youll leverage your prospecting skills selling SaaS to tech companies alongside strong knowledge of Mixpanels product and ecosystem to close new business powering the next generation of innovative companies.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect into specific targeted accounts build and maintain pipeline while owning the sales cycle from start to finish.
  • Solution demonstration in front of Clevel customers champions and technical stakeholders.
  • Drive awareness of Mixpanel as a solution within the marketplace through effective outbound while also handling inbound requests from interested prospects. We love a social AE so please be ready to share your own thoughts and content with your network.
  • Approach all opportunities with a customerfocused mentality. Develop relationships and uncover the needs of multiple key stakeholders to find value moments.
  • Sell with a longterm consultative approach. ****
  • Collaborate crossfunctionally with key partners such as Sales Engineering Professional Services Product Marketing and Legal.
  • Intimately understand Mixpanels competition as well as technology partners to consult customers on our place in the broader analytics market.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • 23 years of experience
  • Full cycle SaaS Sales Experience from prospect to close as an Account Executive or related crossfunctional role like Sales Engineer.
  • Strong outbound prospector and have had success at closing net new business deals.
  • Understands the importance of prospecting and selling face to face attending events and being part of local communities (product marketing analytics environment).
  • Demonstrable ability to accurately forecast.
  • Effective communicator and collaborator you have strong interpersonal skills and are an excellent team player.
  • Adaptability you understand that change is constant and you embrace it.
  • Agility and resilience
  • Strong work ethic desire to learn and a drive to excel.
  • Curiosity for the product analytics space.
  • Speaks German fluently.

Bonus Points For

  • Deep understanding of MEDDPICC or similar. You need to have a process or framework for qualification and opportunity management.
  • Fintech consumer Apps Entertainment experience
  • Experience selling into highgrowth tech companies.
  • Experience with Mixpanel or other analytics tools.
  • Effectively prospecting Mixpanel and the hiring manager.
  • Additional European languages
