Job Description

Overview

Please note this is a hybrid position.

Responsibilities

Performs analysis design and implementation on systems to solve complex problems under the direction of a Senior Hospital Applications Analyst or Principal Hospital Applications Specialist. Tests and analyzes processes according to system specifications and within established timelines. Interacts with customers vendors and other HST/IS&T staff to identify problems and propose solutions. Conducts training programs as required.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree required with preference for Computer Science Healthcare (BSN) Business Administration or related field. Two 2 years of progressively more responsible experience in related technology field. Direct experience with electronic medical records is a plus. Prior Epic experience is highly desirable. Must complete certification on an Epic application specified by management within 6 months of training. Strong problem solving skills. Strong detailoriented organizational skills. Demonstrated interpersonal skills working in a serviceoriented environment. Effective written and oral communications a must. Equivalent education experience and/or training may be substituted for the degree requirements.
