About the Art Teacher Role
We are looking for an inspiring and dedicated Art Teacher to join our successful and dynamic Art department. You will teach Art at Key Stage 3 and 4 nurturing students creativity and helping them to reach their artistic potential.
Responsibilities of the Art Teacher:
- Plan and deliver inspiring Art lessons that engage and challenge students.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to help them improve.
- Contribute to the development of the Art curriculum and resources.
- Foster a positive and supportive learning environment for all students.
- Participate in art exhibitions and extracurricular activities that promote creativity.
Qualifications and Experience:
- A recognized teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE QTS).
- A degree in Art or a related field.
- Experience teaching Art at secondary level with a strong portfolio of student success.
- A strong understanding of the UK curriculum and exam specifications.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
