Senior Supply Chain Analyst

Our client is looking for a Senior Supply Chain Analyst to join their team!

POSITION SUMMARY
This position provides expertise on complex system applications and leads project teams. This includes analyzing data and building complex reports and/or data repositories and other presentation materials. The incumbent must have significant knowledge about cross functional departments in order to serve as a liaison and provide relevant guidance or leadership. This position is responsible for and/or participates in creating functional documentation participating or reviewing technical documentation system configuration creating training materials and facilitating or leading cross function teams through projects and/or issues to achieve desired results. Responsibilities include the effective development and presentation of financial and statistical analysis supporting system supply chain services contracting and cost reduction goals. Identifies gathers and provides necessary data leading towards the achievement of systemwide supply cost strategic initiatives through contract compliance standardization utilization cost per case and margin improvements.

CORE FUNCTIONS
  • Facilitates crossfunctional teams and/or leads projects with regional or companywide scope to implement system or policy changes determines policies and manage process improvement and redesign. This may also include providing oversight general work direction or leadership to individuals on team.
  • Responsible for compiling maintaining and distributing system financial and statistical reports. Creates and develops system supply scorecards to promote bestpractice contracting utilization and standardization. Is responsible for tracking and reporting irregularities to appropriate leadership. Performs analysis of customer needs. Manages and supports the identification and research of new developments and uses of current systems and applications as well as upgraded systems and applications to meet customer needs. Products may include but are not limited to; online applications complex reports.
  • Maintains data integrity in various databases that track high dollar supply purchases. Assures information is accurate and can be extracted in a variety of ways for the purposes of analysis. Maintains optimal operation of departmental application in partnership with IT or external software vendor as appropriate. This may include leading the implementation maintenance testing and/or functional design.
  • Serves as a liaison and expert resource on special departmental projects by gathering data and providing and reporting statistical information creatively and in such a way that can be easily understood. Successfully interacts with all levels of management physicians and vendors effectively to accomplish mutual and satisfactory end results. This may also include education negotiation and troubleshooting for system regional or business policy issues.
  • Functions as information resource for Supply chain management Directors and staff. Identifies creative ways to present data that is easily understood by nonsupply chain personnel. Serves as a resource for endusers of Business Intelligence interacting with system and facility departments as needed to assist with training of teams and individuals in data collection and analysis. Creates presentations and/or reports for management involving significant analysis of multiple or complex data sources.
  • Develops interrelationships among partners and customers who might have similar information needs and manages those relationships to assure effective solutions. 7. Works independently under general supervision. Uses specialized knowledge to make analyses. Acts as the central data analysis hub that supports multimillion dollar procurement activities for all company facilities. This position interacts with users of Materials Management services. In order to effectively accomplish the required tasks this position also interacts with outside sources including vendors GPO staff and other departmental staff and external upper level support.
  • Performs all functions according to established policies procedures regulatory and accreditation requirements as well as applicable professional standards.
  • Provides all customers with an excellent service experience by consistently demonstrating our core and leader behaviors each and every day.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
  • Requires the skills knowledge and abilities normally demonstrated by a Bachelor's degree in business accounting supply chain management computer science or a related field.
  • A level of experience as would typically be obtained in no less than three years working with complex data environments or systems.
  • Must demonstrate ability to lead project or crossfunctional teams to resolve implement or reach consensus on issues.
  • Advanced business or clinical knowledge and demonstrated ability to utilize technical skills to resolve organizational needs.
  • Excellent working knowledge of typical word processing spreadsheet and database applications is required.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as excellent oral and written communication and human relation skills are required.
  • The incumbent must have the ability to organize set priorities manage time constraints and be able to work both independently and as an effective team member.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience with department specific software including advanced integrated or independent report writing applications.
  • Additional related education and/or experience preferred.
