Job Description

The External Fibre Sales Team Leader is responsible for overseeing and managing a team of sales representatives who engage directly with customers at their homes. As a Team Leader you are tasked with ensuring that the team meets sales goals/targets and maintaining high levels of motivation and performance within the group.


This role involves direct interaction with residents through doortodoor sales efforts requiring effective communication and a customerfocused approach. Effective communication problemsolving skills and the ability to inspire and lead a team are essential for success in this role.


Requirements


Key Roles and Responsibilities:

  1. DoortoDoor Sales: Engage with residents in assigned communities to promote and sell fibre internet services effectively communicating the benefits and features of our offerings.

  2. Team Management: Ensure the team meets sales goals/targets and maintain high levels of motivation and performance within the group.

  3. Walking Routes: Follow designated walking routes to maximize coverage and reach potential customers within the community.

  4. Educational Outreach: Educate potential customers about the advantages of our fibre internet services and answer any questions or concerns they may have.

  5. Feedback Reporting: Provide detailed feedback and insights after each shift including customer interactions concerns and market trends.

  6. Working Hours: Work between 15:00 and 19:00 from Monday to Friday and between 08:00 and 12:00 on Saturdays.

  7. Sales Reporting: Accurately record and upload sales data into both client systems and our internal systems for tracking and reporting purposes.

  8. Customer Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with potential customers and leave a favourable impression of the company.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Selfmotivated and able to work independently

  • Ability to walk for extended periods and follow designated routes

  • Sales or customer service experience is a plus

  • Reliable and punctual

  • Strong leadership skills

Reporting Structure:


The External Fibre Sales Team Leader will report directly to our Sales Operations Team to provide feedback on the teams performance.
