Job Description
Live in the exciting city of Guangzhou (Zengcheng District) and teach IGCSE Drama at a great International School. Join a wonderful team of teachers who are making a difference in the lives of children overseas.
Duties:
Planning and delivering drama lessons: responsible for planning and implementing engaging and creative drama lessons that align with the curriculum (IGCSE & PYP & MYP) and cater to the needs and abilities of the students. This includes developing lesson plans selecting appropriate materials and resources and designing activities to enhance students understanding and skills in
drama.
Requirements
Skills/qualifications:
Bachelor s (or above) in drama performing art or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant work experience in an international bilingual school setting.
Solid performance skills and knowledge in drama capable of guiding students in areas such as acting techniques character development and stage presence. Familiarity with the use of modern multimedia teaching tools and technology is an advantage.
Strong teaching abilities in drama with the capacity to inspire creativity and unleash students performance potential. Ability to design and deliver innovative drama curriculum.
Crosscultural teaching experience and adaptability to establish positive relationships with students and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds fostering cultural exchange and understanding.
Willingness and ability to actively engage in academic activities and professional development within the field of drama education. Continual learning and updating of teaching knowledge and skills.
Possession of relevant education certifications or teaching qualifications such as PGCE (Postgraduate Certificate in Education) and QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) certificates.
