Business Analyst (Derivatives) Remote or Hybrid
This is an open role for our client in the insurance industry supporting derivatives and collateral operations. The successful candidate will play a key role in researching analyzing and implementing complex business initiatives including process improvements and new technology implementations. The role requires collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure projects align with strategic business goals.
What is in it for you:
Salaried: $86 to $91 per hour.
Incorporated Business Rate: $104 to $109 per hour.
Fulltime position: 37.50 hours per week.
6month contract with the potential for permanent employment.
Role available fully remote or hybrid 3 days per week in the office.
Weekday schedule from 8:30 am 4:30 pm or 9:00 am 5:00 pm.
Responsibilities:
Collect document and manage business requirements throughout the project lifecycle.
Develop and execute test strategies test cases and expected results in consultation with key stakeholders to ensure deliverables meet business needs.
Identify and analyze complex operational issues proposing creative workflow and technology solutions.
Establish relationships with business leaders to determine optimal solutions for business needs leveraging industry expertise and external service providers.
Ensure compliance with regulatory and industry requirements in all processes and systems.
Adapt to shifting priorities while maintaining alignment with overall business strategy and effectively communicating changes.
What you will need to succeed:
University degree in Business Finance or Computer Science.
MBA CFA FRM or similar certification is a plus.
57 years of Business Analysis experience within an Application Management environment in the financial services industry.
3 years of handson experience as a Business Analyst in derivatives trading and operations.
Strong understanding of system design analysis user acceptance testing and product improvement methodologies.
Excellent communication and influencing skills with the ability to articulate business cases motivate teams and collaborate with crossfunctional stakeholders.
Strong presentation skills and ability to work independently or collaboratively in a global setting.
Proficiency with systems such as Aladdin Findur and Apex is highly desirable.
Experience in system integrations and implementations is an asset.
Proactive initiative ability to recognize tasks that need to be done and act with minimal guidance.
