Job Description
- Oversee the full spectrum of the Finance Department.
- To review management accounts financial reports and forecasts for the entity company to ensure the revenue expenses and balance sheet are accurately captured.
- Manage processes for accounts payable and receivable to ensure timely payments and collections.
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
- Oversee the audit process including providing guidance and support for the audit of the company and all related statutory financial reports.
- Review and monitor cash flows and capital expenditures.
- Support the operational finance matters supporting the development and of financial strategies that align with the organizations objectives.
- Perform monthly P&L forecasting monitoring highlighting and suggesting advice including improvements when variances are expected to exceed the threshold.
- Minimize financial risks by assessing and evaluating potential direct/indirect impacts from the variances which may impact the company and/or its future business decisions.
- Act as a financial advisor to the management to identify weaknesses in financial reporting across all subsidiaries and make necessary adjustments to existing processes with a view to improving the transparency and accuracy of our financial reports.
- Lead and develop the finance and accounting team providing guidance and support.
- Oversees preparation of business activity reports financial forecasts annual budgets and cash flows.
- To undertake any other ad hoc assignments assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Possesses at least a Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.
- At least 8 years of working experience of finance experiences.
- Experience in Retail chain store and Audit is an added advantage.
- Excellent communication skills Mandarin and English proficiency verbally and written is a must.
- Accounting knowledge in ERP system is an added advantage.
