Job Description
The position is in theBusiness Process Integration Supply Chain Planning Excellence team for ETHand CSS. Responsible for the planning alignment and of Supply Chain strategicprojects and activities for ETH and CSS franchises. The scope of these projectswill be within the ETH and CSS Plan portfolio. This person works directly withoverall project leaders Global and regional planning teams Projects team supplynetwork planners Master Data Management team RA & QA teams & businesspartners to ensure strong working relationships and processes resulting inachievement of stated final project objectives.
Principal Duties andResponsibilities
- Implement supply chain transformationalprojects
- Understand the realbusiness needs and analyze them in a general business perspective
- Understand and implementsolutions to cater to the business need and links them to objectives of thedifferent organizations or functions
- Collect the necessarykey data; Relevant complete and correct product and/or customer data
- Understand the linkbetween data and underlying processes. Translate data/process analysis intobuilding a methodology from which clear actions can be defined
- Potential andfeasibility assessment through engagement of business partners
- This role will plan forseamless transitions from the as is configuration to the to be state.Incorporateproject management excellence and LEAN methodology
- Significantly align andliaise with crossfunctional cross regional teamsand all businesspartners (Regulatory Affairs Quality Assurance Master Data Management Global/ Regional PLAN PEx CLS MAKE PP&L ExOps etc. to ensure agreement onupcoming changes
- Identify andproactively mitigate risks throughout the entire supply chain
- Benchmarkand leverage best practices across business units franchises and outsideJ&J
- Ensure compliance withthe Quality Manuals and standards
- Ensure credo values arefollowed in long and shortterm tasks
Education and/orExperience
- Bachelor degree inBusiness Finance Logistics or Engineering.
- Minimum 2 yearsexperience in Supply Chain Management Planning / Logistics IndustrialEngineering or Finance; preferably in a multinational company
- Project Managementexperience preferred
- Knowledge andproficiency of ERP and APS planning tools
- LEAN material flowplanning & scheduling knowledge a plus
- Process Excellencecertification or proven working knowledge a plus
- Problem solver Can doattitude a team player and ability to thrive in ambiguity
- Demonstrated ability tomanage complexity
- Sense of urgencyaccuracy with high attention to details are critical skills for the job
- Strong analytical skillswith capability to query systems to extract sets of data for analysis. AdvancedExcel knowledge
- Good communicationskills
- Ability to work acrossmultiple functional organizations and levels in a multicultural andglobal/matrix environment.
- Demonstrated partneringand influencing skills
- Fluency in English isrequired (other languages are a plus)
