SENCO Highly Regarded Secondary & SEN School Bristol ASAP Start
Location: Bristol
Contract: FullTime Permanent
Salary: MPS/UPS SEN Allowance
A dedicated and experienced SENCO is required to lead the Special Educational Needs provision at a highly regarded secondary and SEN school in Bristol. This is an exciting opportunity to shape the future of inclusive education and support students with a range of additional needs.

Your Role as SENCO:
- Lead the SEN department and ensure highquality provision for all students with additional needs
- Oversee the development and implementation of Education Health & Care Plans (EHCPs)
- Support and train teachers to differentiate lessons and implement inclusive strategies
- Work closely with parents carers and external agencies to ensure students receive the necessary support
- Monitor student progress and adapt interventions as needed
- Ensure compliance with statutory requirements for SEN provision
Who Were Looking For:
- A qualified teacher with SENCO accreditation (or willingness to obtain it)
- Strong leadership skills and experience in supporting students with SEND
- Excellent understanding of SEN legislation and best practices
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff students and parents
