Key Requirements
Data Modeling & Design:
- Develop and implement logical and physical database models that align with business needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to design efficient and scalable database structures
- Ensure data integrity normalization and compliance with industry standards.
Database Optimization:
- Monitor and finetune database performance including indexing partitioning and query optimization.
- Analyze plans and recommend performance improvements.
- Implement best practices for database security backup and recovery strategies.
Data Migration & Integration:
- Plan and execute complex data migrations ensuring minimal downtime and data consistency.
- Develop and maintain ETL processes for data extraction transformation and loading.
- Work closely with application and infrastructure teams to ensure seamless data movement between environments.
Administration & Maintenance:
- Manage Oracle database instances including installation configuration patching and upgrades.
- Ensure database security high availability and disaster recovery planning.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database issues in production and nonproduction environments.
Qualifications :
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- 10 years of experience as an Oracle DBA with expertise in data modeling performance tuning and data migration.
- Proficiency in Oracle 12c 19c and later versions.
- Strong experience with SQL PL/SQL and query optimization.
