Job Description
Job Title: Machine SetUp Operator 2nd Shift)
Criminal Background Check and Drug Test are Required
Location:
3330 W Town Point Dr Kennesaw GA 30144 USA
Shift Schedule:
- 2nd Shift: MondayThursday 2:00 PM 10:30 PM) Friday 1:00 PM 9:30 PM)
- Mandatory Weekend: Last Saturday of the month
Job Responsibilities:
- Follow daily production schedules for each line to ensure smooth operations.
- Set up production lines with necessary machinery raw materials and packaging supplies.
- Plan and execute setups efficiently to minimize downtime between packaging orders.
- Prepare machine parts raw materials and packaging supplies before setup is required.
- Perform quick and efficient setup to reduce nonvalueadded time.
- Support Assembler/Fillers with packaging materials during extended production runs.
- Clean setup parts daily and store them properly following 5S principles.
- Maintain tank cleanliness including periodic content changes to ensure effectiveness.
- Operate a forklift to transport set up and store bulk materials.
- Keep the designated setup area in Maintenance clean and organized.
- Adhere to all Health Safety and Environmental regulations.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year of directly relevant experience.
- Ability to effectively read write and communicate in English.
- Capable of accurately interpreting and following operational manuals company procedures and guidelines.
- Basic knowledge of mathematics percentages fractions and decimals to set equipment flow rates and volume specifications.
- Proficiency in using hand and power tools (with or without reasonable accommodation).
- Mechanical aptitude required for setup maintenance and parts cleaning tasks.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a forklift operators certification if required.
- Must be able to wear and use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
