Job Description
WJ are currently looking for a HGV Welder / Fabricator who can join our team in Elland. Responsibilities include working to designs / specifications fabricating and building to our specific vehicle types and the various uses of our HGVs.
What you will do:
- Contribute to the initial layout and fabrication of specialised road marking equipment mounted on HGV Chassis
- Future design and development of vehicles and other road marking equipment
- Routine maintenance and repairs on vehicles
- Be involved in final post paint assembly of equipment
Qualifications :
What will you bring to the team
- Selfmotivated and selfstarter
- A good timekeeper
- A good understanding of plant and vehicle systems is preferred
- Must have demonstrable experience in manufacturing and HGV engineering/fitting
- Be a good team player
- Flexible to carry out other duties as required
- Good practical ability working to high standard for new installations
- UK Driving Licence (HGV not essential but preferred)
Additional Information :
Working Hours
Working hours are 8am to 5pm with overtime available and required occasionally depending on current workloads and targets.
