Join AsureQualitys Digital Transformation team as a Product Owner Data & AI Products and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of food assurance in Aotearoa. This is your opportunity to drive key data initiatives influence strategic decisionmaking and be at the forefront of digital transformation.
This is a full time permanent position to start April/May 2025 and is based in our Mt Wellington Auckland office every Thursday. Flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the work week is available.
What Youll Be Doing:
- Own the product vision Define and manage the roadmap and backlog to align with business priorities and user needs.
- Translate needs into action Collaborate with teams to define clear actionable product requirements.
- Drive continuous improvement Conduct market research and gather feedback to enhance solutions.
- Lead Agile Oversee sprint planning backlog grooming and key Agile ceremonies.
- Ensure impact Prioritise initiatives and deliver highquality data solutions that drive business decisions.
What Were Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Product Owner or in product management within a medium or large organisation.
- Strong understanding of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban) and experience with product management tools (e.g. Jira Trello). Advantageous if you have an Agile certification.
- Ability to translate business needs into clear product requirements and manage competing priorities.
- Strong stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
- Experience in defining and prioritising product backlogs and driving successful datarelated initiatives.
- A tertiary qualification in a relevant field or equivalent experience (e.g. Business Product Management or related discipline).
